George C. Caruso

Throughout a long and distinguished career as a property manager, developer, and advocate, George Caruso has incomparable experience in operating all types of residential real estate. 

Mr. Caruso has been responsible for major portfolios of rental real estate in the Midwest, South, Atlantic Coast, and Pacific Coast. He started his career in High Rise Luxury developments in and around Chicago. He has operated landmark buildings as well as smaller suburban and rural properties; he's supervised properties as small as 23 units and as large as 1,750 units.    

George expanded from management to management and development in the early 1980’s and has operated and developed in all the major markets in the Midwest, West, South, Southwest, Mid-South and Atlantic Coast.

George is recognized as one of the foremost experts on HUD Assisted and Tax Credit management and operations. He has deep experience in all the major HUD programs and was an early participant in the Tax Credit Programs.

George is a graduate of the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, BBA class of 1971. He has done graduate work at the Kellogg School of business at Northwestern University.
